It's fair to say that WBO Flyweight champion Zou Shiming (9-1, 2) [邹市明] has had a frustrating year so far, with his first defense being delayed several times already this year and the Chinese fighter finding out that he's not got the financial backing that he and his fans seemed to believe he had.
It's also been revealed that he has now left Top Rank, who have seemingly given up on the idea of making Shiming a global boxing star, and he also saw one proposed opponent suffer a nasty injury that will keep them, Toshiyuki Igarashi, out of the ring for a prolonged time.
Now however there has been some good news for Shiming and his fans, that is that he will return on July 28th in Shanghai. His opponent hasn't been named but is thougfht to be a WBO ranked fighter and will be announced in the near future.
