Tomorrow we will see the first major title bout to involved Chinese star Zou Shiming (6-0, 1). The unbeaten Chinese fighter will step into the ring with former amateur rival Amnat Ruenroeng (14-0, 5) and look to not only continue his winning run but also claim the IBF Flyweight title currently held by Amnat.
Although Shiming is stepping up, massively, the bookies have made him a prohibitive favourite. The general price on a win by Shiming is between 2/7 and 1/4, offering less than spectacular returns on the Chinese fighter. For the fancying the upset you can get Amnat priced as high as 3/1 with a number of bookies. The draw is as high as 25/1.
For those looking for more value in other markets the "Method of Victory" market Shiming by decision is 4/9, a likely tempting price for many who would be backing Shiming considering his lack of power and killer instinct. For those expecting the unexpected Shiming inside the distance is available at 10/1 with Paddy Power. For Amnat backers they can get the Thai at 6/1 by decision with Betvictor whilst Amnat is 8/1 to win inside the distance with Ladbrokes.
Obviously with neither guy being a puncher the fight is expected to go the distance, sadly the 2/9 odds of it going the schedule are relatively hard to put money on and the 10/3 for it not go the distance is also less than tempting.
