Earlier today our good friends at http://boxeando.net/ informed us that Argentinian fighter Juan Pedro Guglielmetti (7-4, 5) would be heading to China later this month to face destructive Chinese Heavyweight hopeful Zhang Junlong (11-0, 11) [张君龙] on January 30th.
The bout will see Junglong attempt to continue his impressive looking record and see him kicking off 2016 in an aggressive manner. Sadly last year the heavy handed fighter Qingdao fought just once, stopping Shawn Cox,and although he now has wins over two notable names he doesn't seem to be able to generate any attention in the West.
The exciting Chinese fighter has been described as being the Chinese George Foreman and given his record and style it's easy to see why he has drawn those comparisons, though at 34 years old it really is time to make a mark on the sport and if he fails to get a world ranking by the end of 2016 it's fair to say that he's likely to retirement in the obscurity that he's currently in.
For those who haven't seen Junlong, dubbed the "Dragon King", we have included some footage below.
