Yesterday we saw former Japanese Lightweight champion Yoshitaka Kato (29-5-1, 9) and current Japanese Heavyweight champion Kyotaro Fujimoto (11-1, 6) fly off to the US to begin a short training camp in the US.
The camp, which is to take place in California with time being spent at the Wildcard gym, began early this morning with the two Japanese fighters beginning their training with a run around Griffith Park.
Although details of the over-all camp are scarce it does seem like both men felt the early morning and jet lag. They did however complete the course they were set around the huge park and will be heading to the gym later today.
The two fighters are expected to be in the US for the next 3 weeks and will spend numerous days training with some of the world class fighters at Wildcard, with Fujimoto scheduled to spar with WBA Cruiserweight champion Denis Lebedev.
