This past Sunday Korean fans saw teenager Woo Hyun Kim (7-1, 1) [김우현] successfully retain his PABA Bantamweight title, scoring a split decision win against fellow Korean Jong Min Jung (7-8, 2) [정종민].
Footage of the bout hasn't yet been made available to us however the judges scored the bout 116-111 and 115-114 in favour of the champion whilst the challenger was backed by a judge with a score of 115-113.
The bout was Kim's first defense of the title and although he retained the title he probably won't be in a rush to step up in class.
As on the card was a KPBF Cruiserweight title bout bout that saw Do Gon Choi (3-0, 3) being crowned the new champion following a 3rd round KO win against. Sadly we've not been made aware of who Choi's opponent was, but the win is a good one for the new champion.
