Tomorrow fight fans in Japan will get the chance to see Japanese Lightweight champion Shuhei Tsuchiya (22-4, 18) [土屋 修平] defending his title against mandatory challenger Kazuhiro Nishitani (16-4-1, 8) [西谷 和宏], with the bout being aired on G+ as part of the Dynamic Glove series of shows.
Today the two men took part in their weigh in for the contest and both made weight for the contest.
The challenger, the slightly taller of the two men, was the lighter fighter and came in aroudn 134lbs, a full 1lb under limit. Although coming under the weight he looked like a genuinely strong and well built Lightweight, as opposed to someone who had over-trained or over-boiled.
A slightly more sucked in champion also came in comfortably under the limit, weighing in around 134.5lbs for the bout. This is heavier than he was won he won the title back in December, but he has fought between Lightweight and Light Welterweight in recent years.
