Although a lot of Asian fighters are in action this week only one of their fights is currently on the sports in the UK. That fight is the WBO Bantamweight unification bout between the unbeaten "regular" champion Tomoki Kameda (30-0, 19) and the interim champion Alejandro Hernandez (28-10-2, 15) of Mexico.
Unfortunately for those punters looking to make a nice profit on the bout the bookies don't really see it as a competitive one. At all.
The best odds available on the unbeaten Kameda are 1/10 with the price being widely available online with bookies such as Bet365 and Skybet. Those same bookmakers all seem to have Hernandez priced at 6/1, which is a nice price if you feel he'll upset the rising Japanese star who looks set to become a mainstay in the US.
For those folk who think a draw is likely they maybe tempted by the 25/1 offered pretty much across the board, except by Bet365 who haven't priced up the draw and will void all bets on the market in the outcome of a draw.
At the moment the only market available is the winner market though we have got our fingers crossed that a method of victory market will be opened by the weekend.
