Over the past few weeks we've been following the development of an upcoming Teiken promoted card from the Korakuen Hall. The show, which features a double main event looks like a really intriguing show, especially given the level it's being held at, and certainly has name value attached to it.
The second of the main events will feature former WBA Super Bantamweight champion Akifumi Shimoda (29-4-2, 12), who will face Jerry Nardo (21-7, 11), whilst the other main event will see the popular Yoshihiro Kamegai (25-3-1, 22) battle against Mike Mirafuentes (3-1-1).
Both of the main event fighters are featured prominently, but equally, on the poster which really does well to show how both bouts are supposed to be held as co-main events. The poster also lists the other bouts from the card and features the details of the show. It's a solid enough for a really good, albeit low level, card.
Also confirmed for this card are 3 solid supporting bouts. One of those will see Masashi Suzuki (11-3, 4) facing off against former Rookie of the Year Kenya Yamashita (7-1, 4) whilst another will see the promising Masaru Sueyoshi (9-1, 6) take on Filipino foe Roman Canto (10-7-2, 5), both of those bouts are listed on the poster.
