South Korean fighter Su Yun Hong (10-1-1, 5) is set to make the first defense of her WIBA Light Flyweight title on December 20th as she takes on the unknown Gao Liu, who we believe has a record of 6-0 (4) though isn't on boxrec.com.
The bout will the first defense of the title that Hong won back in October when she over-came the obscure Ma Ri of China and will see her attempt to end an otherwise forgettable year with back-to-back wins. The Korean began the year with the loss of the WBO female Minimumweight title to Japanese teenage Mako Yamada in what was a very clear loss despite the ridiculous card of Joong-Suk Kwon and she unfortunately followed that up with a technical draw against Dan Bi Kim.
We have to admit we know nothing about Liu.
Also on this card will be a Korean Middleweight bout but we're not certain on who the fighters will be with the rest of the details regarding the card being "sketchy" in terms of details.
We have been told that the main event will be screened on MBC+ in South Korea
