The excellent July 28th card at the Korakuen Hall just seems to get better and better.
We had known for a while that Hiroki Okada (8-0, 7) would be defending his Japanese Light Welterweight title against Shamgar Koichi (18-5-1, 11) and that Japanese Welterweight champion Suyon Takayama (20-1, 7) would be defending his belt against Koshinmaru Saito (20-5-1, 11).
We've also seen Yukinori Oguni (12-1, 3) added to the card as he continues rebuilding his career following his stoppage loss to Shingo Wake just over a year ago.
The latest announcement for the card is that fans will get to see the hard hitting and very fun to watch Shuhei Tsuchiya (15-3, 13). The bout, scheduled to be an 8 round contest will be fought at a contracted weight of 62KG though no opponent has yet been set for Tsuchiya who was last seen in the ring losing a blood bath with Leonardo Zappavigna.
With Oguni and Tsuchiya yet to have their opponents named we're not expecting either man to face anyone too good though they are still good additions to a very good domestic card.
