Tomorrow in Kyoto boxing fans will get a treat with two really interesting match ups.
One of those match ups comes at Bantamweight where unbeaten Japanese champion Shohei Omori (15-0, 10) battles against Filipino visitor Marlon Tapales (27-2, 10) for the right to challenge for the WBO title next year.
Today, at the weigh in, both men made weight for the contest.
On the scales Omori was just over 117½lbs, around the same as he was when he destroyed Kentaro Masuda in his first bout of the year. It was that win over Masuda that saw Omori "burst out" and catch the attention of fight fans across Japan.
Tapales on the other hand was very light, coming in just over 116lbs for the bout. Despite how light he is he did look in great condition and looked ready to go for the huge fight tomorrow, which will be aired live on GAORA and on tape delay on MBS,
