Today's been a busy day for Korean fight fans who had two separate shows to choose from, each affiliated to a different Korean body.
One of those cards, held in Seoul, was headlined by an international bout between unbeaten Japanese fighter Shohei Kawashima (13-0-2, 3) [川島翔平] and Korean local Jin Wook Lim (7-4-5, 1) [임진욱].
Sadly for the local fighter he found himself up against a sprightly youngster who was determined to keep his unbeaten record intact. As a result a busy and sharp Kawashima was simply too much, over the 10 rounds, for Lim, who came up short on the cards.
Unfortunately it seems unlikely that we'll get footage of this bout, but is seems that Shinsei gym, who are in charge of Kawashima's career, were very proud of their man, posting pictures of their fighter with a trophy almost immediately after the bout.
