On Tuesday Japanese fans will have the chance to see the highly anticipated WBC Bantamweight world title fight between hard hitting champion Shinsuke Yamanaka (23-0-2, 17) and slippery challenger Anselmo Moreno (35-3-1, 12).
Ahead of that bout the two men have gone through the usual world title build up with the medical take place yesterday and today they took part in the official signing ceremony and final press conference, ahead of tomorrows weigh in.
At the press conference Yamanaka described Moreno as a top Bantamweight and it seems very clear that he is excited to be facing another top fighter rather than facing some of the weak challengers he has faced in recent times, such as the unbeaten but limited Diego Ricardo Santillan.
It was also noted by the press that both men will be wearing black gloves in the ring, with Moreno originally being set to wear blue before changing to black. Despite the change in gloves the challenger does appear confident and certainly won't be looking to make up the numbers when the two step into the ring tomorrow evening.
