On February 17th Japanese fans in Tokyo will get the chance to see IBF Super Bantamweight mandatory challenger Shingo Wake (19-4-2, 11) [和氣慎吾] battle against Indonesian visitor Waldo Sabu (7-2, 2). For fans not in Tokyo for the bout there is a chance to watch tape delay feet just a few days later when TBS air the bout as part of their next "Guts Fighting" show.
The broadcast, which is set to be aired at 2:23 local time on February 20th, at least according to the TBS website, is likely to feature the full bout, though as mentioned it will be coming several days after the result is known.
The bout is expected to be Wake's final one before he gets a world title fight later in the year, likely to be against the winner of the up coming "Super fight" between Carl Frampton, the current IBF champion, and Scott Quigg, the WBA champion. Sadly for Wake however the odds are that the IBF and WBA titles will be split before he gets a shot at the winner.
