Earlier today Japanese Olympic bronze medal winner Satoshi Shimizu (1-0, 1) [清水 聡] took part in a public work out ahead of his December 30th bout with Filipino fighter Carlo Demecillo (6-3, 1).
The work out saw an aggressive looking Shimizu impress and look incredibly sharp from the start to the end. The sharpness saw Shimizu showingreal signs of improvement since his debut, though he will have to show more than just a bit of improvement to over-come Demecillo, who recently went the distance with Hisashi Amagasa.
Shimizu looked like his straight left hand was a really improving punch and it's clear he will be looking to use that as a key weapon against Demecillo.
Shimizu's team have seemingly picked Demecillo as an opponent due to how unorthodox he is, and they made it clear that they want him in with someone a bit wild and less compact than the amateur competition that Shimizu has been in with in the past.
