One of the many interesting under-card bouts taking place tomorrow at the Korakuen Hall is a Japanese Featherweight title bout between hard hitting champion Satoshi Hosono (29-2-1, 20) and former WBA Super Bantamweight champion Akifumi Shimoda (30-4-2, 13).
As with all the other bouts on the card the two men took part in their weigh in today,
On the scales both men hit the limit of 126lbs. For Hosono this is a 6th successive time that he has been 126lbs on the scales, showing how comfortable he is at the weight and how consistent he is. For Shimoda it's a third successive bout where he's been 126lbs, though of course he made his name fighting at 122lbs, where he won the Japanese, OPBF and WBA titles.
Whilst this bout isn't scheduled to be telelvised on Fuji TV tomorrow we are expecting a very exciting and competitive bout some explosive action. Given the shape both men are in it seems almost certain that the fans are in for something very special.
