Yesterday we were informed by our good friend Pal that the upcoming WBO Bantamweight world title bout between Pungluang Sor Singyu (51-3, 35) and Filipino challenger Jetro Pabustan (26-2-6, 7) has been rescheduled.
Originally the bout was set to take place in January 2016 in Loei, it will have now take place in February in the city center of Nakhon Ratchasima in what will be a free event to attend at a temporary venue.
The bout, which has had stated dates of January 5th and January 15th, will now take place on February 12th and will likely have a much bigger crowd than it would have had in Loei, thanks partly to the free attendance.
At the moment we're unsure on the under-card but it's likely that we will see the likes of Chonlatarn Piriyapinyo, Thewa Onesongachaigym and Kwanpichit OnesongchaiGym all in action.
The bout will be Pungluang's first defense of the title that he won last year, when he stopped Ryo Akaho in 2 rounds, and the winner will be forced to defend, later in the year, against Marlon Tapales, who earned the right to fight for the title following his exceptional victory over Japan's Shohei Omori.
