Last week we reported that a date had been set for the first OPBF Middleweight title defense by the under-rated Hikaru Nishida (15-7-1, 7) [西田 光], who is now set to fight on June 7th against unbeaten challenger Dwight Ritchie (13-0-0-4, 1), the #1 ranked OPBF Middleweight challenger.
Earlier today we were made aware that the poster for the show, had been completed with Nishida posting it to his blog.
Officially the card will be "Hopeful Fight Vol 22", and previously reported the card will feature a second OPBF title fight, a bout for the OPBF female Featherweight title fight between Kimika Miyoshi (12-8-1, 5) [三好 喜美佳] and Kai Johnson (5-9-3, 2) [カイジョンソン].
The poster is a simple one with Nishida being the key image of the poster, with his two titles, and Miyoshi being in the secondary image, with her two titles. As for the under-card fighters they are featured in smaller inset images.
For Australian fans hoping to see Ritchie featured on the poster it's a shame he's absent, but it's fair to say that the poster is targeted towards Japanese fans who can make it to the Korakuen Hall on June 7th rather than Australian fans likely to travel to support their man.
