Later today fans will get the chance to see touted Mongolian destroyer Tugstsogt Nyambayar (5-0, 5) continue his excellent start to professional life as he takes on his biggest test to date, Rafael Vazquez (16-2, 13).
Yesterday the two men took part in their weigh in.
On the scales Nyambayar was 123.6lbs, coming in above the Super Bantamweight limit but under the contractual limit for the bout, and well under the Featherweight limit. The promising "King Tug" was more than 1lb lighter than he was last time out, when he beat Juan Ruiz, but looked in tremendous shape and clearly hasn't over-trained or over drained for this bout.
As for Vazquez he was slightly heavier on the scales, coming in at 124lbs for the bout. For him the weight was lighter than he had been in his last 2 bouts, but slightly heavier than he has bee for many recent bouts. Notably however it is 9lbs lighter than his weight for a 2011 bout against Andrew Barnes.
For fans interested in seeing what all the hype is about when it comes to Nyambayar, his bout will be televised on ESPN tonight in the US as part of the PBConESPN.
