On Saturday Filipino fans will get the chance to see WBO Super Bantamweight champion Nonito Donaire (36-3, 23) defend his title against Hungarian challenger Zsolt Bedak (25-1, 8).
Earlier today the two men weighed in for the bout, with both making the limit relatively easily.
On the scales Donaire was the heavier man weighing in around 121.75lbs, his lightest weight since his 2013 loss to Guillermo Rigondeaux, whilst Bedak was 121.5lbs, his lightest weight in almost 2 years.
At the weigh in both men looked confident with Bedak looking like a man who knows this is likely to be his final shot at a world title whilst Donaire looked like a man who knows that his great career is coming to an end. It's fair to say that the loser of this one is potentially looking at the end of their career whilst the winner will get at least one more big bout, possibly later this year.
