The next few days are hectic days for boxing fans with a flew of amazing fights over the next week or two. The one that kicks it all off is tomorrow as unbeaten Japanese female fighter Nana Yoshikawa (4-0, 2) challenges for her first world title.
The unbeaten Japanese fighter finds herself against one of the talented Mexican fights as she takes on WBA Minimumweight champion Anabel Ortiz (16-3, 3) in a bout for Ortiz's title. The bout may not have the same appeal to it as some of the upcoming fights in May, for example the Manny Pacquiao Vs Floyd Mayweather bout on May 2nd or the Super Featherweight clash between Takashi Uchiyama and Jomthong Chuwatana, but it's still a notable bout with a lot at stake for both fighters.
Today saw the weigh in for that bout and, thankfully, both fighters made weight with relative ease. On the scales neither woman came close to being over the limit and both looked in great condition, ready to fight.
