The Korean Boxing Commission and AK Promotions have confirmed that Korean based Pakistani boxer Muhammad Waseem (1-0, 1) would be returning to the ring on December 5th to fight in his second professional bout. The talented 28 year old, who won the Korean Super Flyweight title on his debut, will be continuing his international career as he returns in Bangkok, Thailand in another scheduled 10 rounder.
The bout, which was brought to our attention by our friend Rian, will see Waseem battle against Indonesian fighter Suparyanto Doglo (7-2-1, 4)* in a bout that has been contracted just under the Super Flyweight limit.
For Waseem this will be a chance to get a feel for Thailand before potentially bigger bouts in the country, possibly against some recognisable Thai's for more notable titles, it's also a chance for his promoter, AK Promotions, to continue their relationship with Thailand which has seen them promote several shows in Thailand already this year.
Ahead of the bout AK Promotions have released some training videos of Waseem, which we've included below.
*Record is thought to be incomplete due in part to long breaks between a number of bouts and partly due to the usual problems with Indonesian records.
