Although we are a little late to report this we are happy to inform you that both Juan Francisco Estrada (25-2, 18) and challenger Richie Mepranum (27-3-1, 6) have made weight for the WBO/WBA "super" Flyweight title fight later today.
From what we understand both the champion, from Mexico, and the challenger, from the Philippines were bang on the 112lb limit. Both looked incredible at the weigh in and both seemed rearing to go in their world title fight.
As for the chief support between Hernan "Tyson" Marquez (36-4, 26) and Filipino foe John Mark Apolinario (17-3-3, 4) we saw the Mexican coming in heavier at 116.5lbs to the 116lbs of Apolinario.
Although this card has fallen through the radar of many fans we expect fire works with both of the Mexicans fighters enjoying a tear up whilst Mepranum and Apolinario are both capable of scoring the occasional upset if they are on form.
