Earlier today Japanese promotion Mutoh Gym announced their next show, which is set to take place in Osaka on April 17th.
The announcement included details of several bouts, including the main event which will see the heavy handed Koki Tyson Maebara (9-2-1,9) [前原 太尊・康輝] fighting for the WBC Youth Middleweight title. At the moment Maebara's opponent hasn't been named though it does sound like the bout will be for the vacant title. This will be Maebara's first bout since being stopped by Akio Shibata late last year in an OPBF/JBC title fight.
Other bouts announced for the show includes a brilliant match up between Masahiro Sakamoto (6-0, 4) [坂本 真宏], who claimed the Rookie of the Year crown at Flyweight last year, facing off against the much more experienced Atsushi Aburada (10-9, 6) [油田 京士], in a bout between Japanese ranked fighters, rematch between Japanese based Filipino Mark John Yap (23-12, 10) and former multi-time world title challenger Hiroyuki Hisataka (24-14-1, 10) [久高 寛之] and a bout featuring the heavy handed and exciting Masao Nakamura (21-3, 20) [仲村 正男].
The card will be exciting and promises a lot on paper for fans in Osaka who look liek they will be in for another treat.
