On Saturday fans in Korea will get the chance to see KBF poster boy Ye Joon Kim (12-1-2, 6) defend his IBF Asia Super Bantamweight title against Indonesia's former world title challenger Angky Angkotta (32-11-1, 18). The bout, which sees not only Kim's title but also the EBP Super Bantamweight title being on the line, had it's weigh in on Friday and saw both men making weight.
The weigh in saw Kim looking very confident, almost showing his confident swagger whilst the experienced Angkotta looked some what apprehensive, as if he knew he was the clear under-dog.
The show, which is televised on Korean TV, is to be headlined by the Kim Vs Angkotta bout, though features an under-card with an international flavour as Japanese and Chinese fighters face off against each other, and local fighters, in what has been described as 3-nation mini tournament.
Strangely, at the time of writing, boxrec list a number of bouts from the under-card, all featuring Japanese fighters, but not this main event bout.
