Tomorrow fight fans in Kobe get the chance to attend an OPBF quadruple header with OPBF title bouts at Lightweight, Super Bantamweight, Bantamweight and Minimumweight. Sadly for those not able to make it to the venue the bouts won't be aired live anywhere, not on TV or a streaming service.
Thankfully there is some good news for those unable to go to the show and that's that Kansai TV will be aired delayed highlights from the show on Tuesday/Wednesday with a 90 minute timeslot given to the card part of a pragram "The Real Fight".
The show will officially be aired on Tuesday night at 25:40 on Tuesday, or 1:40am Wednesday mornign for those unfamiliar with the Japanese method of timetabling late night broadcasts.
Despite having a 90 minute TV window it's unclear how they will be showing the bouts, which feature Shun Kubo (10-0, 7) [久保隼] defending his Super Bantamweight title against Korean visitor Jin Wook Lim (8-4-5, 2) [임진욱 ], Masayoshi Nakatani (12-0, 7) [中谷 正義] defending his Lightweight title against Filipino Allan Tanada (14-5-3, 6), Bantamweight champion Takahiro Yamamoto (18-4, 15) [山本 隆寛] taking on Filipino Mark John Yap (24-12, 10) and a bout for the vacant Minimumweight title between Ryuya Yamanaka (12-2, 3) [山中 竜也] and former WBO world champion Merlito Sabillo (25-3-1, 12).
Hopefully, for hose not in Kansai, video of the broadcast will hit the internet in the days that follow the broadcast, if not there's a chance that those outside of the region won't be able to see any footage other than fan cam video of the bouts in question, a real shame given the talent thta will be in action
