In Tokyo tomorrow fans will get a genuine treat as former Japanese Super Featherweight champion Daiki Kaneko (21-4-3, 14) takes on former OPBF title holder Masao Nakamura (19-3, 19) in what could potentially be the match up of the month.
Today the two men took to the scales and both made weight, weighing in at around 129¾lbs for their clash.
On the scales Kaneko was ripped, as he always is. The 27 year old from Yokohama looked incredible and had certainly taken his training camp seriously given the fact he had lost 2 of his last 4. On the other hand Nakamura looked slightly fleshy, certainly not bad just not as good as Kaneko.
The two men know that this is essentially a must win bout. Their career's don't depend on a win but they will need a victory if they are to get a big fight next time out against someone like OPBF champion Masao Nakamura or Japanese champion Rikki Naito.
From a fans perspective not only do we know that both will be eager to leave an impression but we also know that they styles of the two men should result in something very special when the men get in the ring tomorrow afternoon. Lets just hope the bout lives up to it's potential
