Tomorrow Japanese fans, especially those who the Super Featherweight division, will get a treat at the Korakeun Hall. The show boasts two title fights at 130lbs with one being a Japanese title fight, and the other being an OPBF title bout.
That OPBF title bout will see once beaten champion Masayuki Ito (17-1-1, 8) defending his title against Shingo Eto (17-3-1 9) in what looks to be a genuinely fantastic match up.
Today the two men weighed in with both making weight at their first attempt. On the scales both were very similar though Eto was the slightly heavier man, by around 1/4lb.
Coming in to this one Ito sounded very confident and seemed to suggest that he was going to be hunting a KO win. It's his first of the title, following a stoppage win against Dai Iwai, and it seems that he's become a much more confident fighter following the win and has real belief in his power. Eto, who is fighting in his second title challenger, also appeared confident and seemed to suggest that he was wanting to win the title to help build the Eto family name.
