Tomorrow fight fans will tune in Fuji TV to see WBO Super Flyweight champion Japanese sensation Naoya Inoue (11-0, 9) [井上 尚弥] defending his title against compatriot Kohei Kono (32-9-1, 13) [河野 公平]. Today those two men weighed in for their bout and both came in at the divisional limit of 115lbs, and looked in incredible condition.
Inoue, who will be defending his for the 4the titme, looked in the best shape of his career and seemed a lot happier than he had in other recent weigh ins, with the fighter stating that his body was holding water better than it had in the past and feel of squeezing down in weight does seem to have been easier for the champion.
A relaxed looking Kono looked, as usual, in great shape and sounded confident, despite knowing he was the under-dog for the up coming bout. It seems like he feels his experience makes him a dangerous opponent for Inoue and it's clear he has worked his socks off to get into shape and condition for this bout.
For fans interested in following this it will only be aired in Japan across the Fuji News Network but stream should be available for those looking in the right places.
