May 20th and 21st are set to be a huge weekend in Japanese boxing, with 6 world title bouts spread over the weekend. It is however not on Japanese fighters who will be fighting over that weekend, with several international fighters also in action, in fact all 6 of the world title bouts feature a foreign fighters.
Also on the cards will be an all international bout as Korean Il Sub Jung (3-2) battles against unbeaten Frenchman Dylan Charrat (12-0, 3), on May 20th as part of the Fuji TV FES Boxing 2017 show, in what looks to be an incredibly tough bout for the Korean.
We'll admit we've not seen much of either man, though we did get the chance to see Jung's last bout, which saw him suffer a 5th round KO to Quaye Peter. Given that result and Charrat being a naturally bigger fighter, we are suspect that the Korean will be in an incredibly tough contest, but credit to him for taking the opportunity and being included on such a huge weekend for Asian boxing.
For those who haven't seen Jung before we have included his bout with Peter below.
