Earlier today in Japan saw the weigh in for tomorrows show at the Korakuen Hall. The main event there will see former WBC Flyweight champion Toshiyuki Igarashi (19-2-1, 11) battle against Mexican tough guy Efrain Perez (17-5, 12). The bout, contracted at 116lbs, saw both men making weight and both looking in tremendous shape at the weigh in.
Igarashi made the contracted limit on the nose coming in at 116lbs, interestingly a career high weight for the Teiken promoted 31 year old. Perez on the other hand was slightly under the maximum, as he hit the scales at 115½lbs. For Perez that was 1lb lighter than he was in his previous contest, a decision loss to Filipino fighter Mark Anthony Geraldo.
For those wanting to watch this bout it is televised, sadly however international fans will struggle to watch it with it being televised on NTV G+, a channel notoriously difficult for international viewers to watch.
