Tomorrow Japanese fans in Tokyo will get the chance to see Japanese Featherweight champion Satoshi Hosono (28-2-1, 20) defend his title against the teak tough and incredibly gutsy Takuya Watanabe (26-5-1, 12). Today, ahead of their fight, they took part in their official weigh in.
On the scales both men made weight for the bout which will see Hosono, who is world ranked by several world title bodies, attempting to defend his title for the 4th time.
Watanbe, who is best known by many for his bloody war with Jaesung Lee, is hoping it will be second time lucky following a loss in a previous national title fight against Hisashi Amagasa.
At the weigh in both men looked in great condition and we're expecting a genuinely brilliant fight between the boxing Watanabe and the marauding Hosono, who should gel for a thriller.
For fans interested in watching, the bout will be aired later this week on Fuji TV as they continue their burgeoning relationship with Ohashi Gym.
Hosono and Watanabe meet in what could be a potential thriller!
