Tomorrow fight fans will be able to see a Japanese Light Flyweight title fight at the EDION Arena Osaka. The bout will see veterans Tetsuya Hisada (27-9-2, 17) [久田 哲也] and Kenichi Horikawa (32-14-1, 7) [堀川 謙一] battle for the vacant title, in what will be the third bout between the two men.
On the scales today both men were bang on the divisional limit of 108lbs and both looked in good shape.
Hisada, who has lost the previous two meeting with Horikawa, sounded confident, stating he was in good shape and that he was confident of winning by KO. If he can manage that then he would make a huge statement, with Horikawa having only been stopped 3 times in 47 bouts.
Horikawa was also confident that he'd win here, a given that he has twice beaten Hisada and that he has also previously held this title, having win it with a sensational performance against Shin Ono back in 2015.
Horikawa and Hisada battle again..this time for gold!
