Japanese prospect Hikaru Marugame (5-0, 3) was in action earlier today as he attempted to kick-start his career, which has faltered in recent times after a very promising start.
The talented youngster took on Thailand's Non Sithsaithong (12-9, 8) and really made a statement as he took out the Thai in just 2 rounds.
From the opening round the two men looked to be in completely different levels with Marugame finding his rhythm early on and hurting Non inside the opening round. The second round was much the same, apart from the fact that Marugame actually went for the kill and it was only a matter of time until it came.
The 25 year old prospect may not have been in there with the toughest of challenges but the manner of his win made a real statement given that no one had stopped Non as quickly as Marugame did, although this was the 7th stoppage loss of Non's career.
