Tomorrow Japanese fans will get a domestic Minimumweight title fight as Tatsuya Fukuhara (16-4-5, 6) [福原 辰弥] defends his title against the unbeaten Takumi Sakae (13-0, 8) [榮 拓海].
Today the two men involved in that bout took part in their weigh-in and, both made weight.
Although we haven't been given the weights of the two men they both made the 105lb limit for the bout and both looked very different.
At the weigh in the champion looked ripped, strong and like a man determined to retain his title, and record his first defense. Sakae on the other hand looked less ripped and more natural at the weight.
The bout, which takes place at the Foodpal Kumamoto, Kumamoto, will be the main event of tomorrow's card and promises a lot, with both men fighting for not only the title but also a potential world title shot.
