Earlier today Green Tsuda held a press conference to announce two things. One of those things was that they'd signed former Osaka Teiken fighter Ryuto Kyoguchi, transferring the man once dubbed "Tatsuyoshi II".
The other thing was the date of the next professional bout of Japanese school girl Fuka Komura (1-0) [小村 楓香], who was the star at the press conference and looked as calm as she in the build up to her debut.
The 19 year old will be back in the ring on December 4th, there has been very little else released about the bout though Komura stated that she was determined to score a KO. She stated she had been practicing hard and admitted to feeling the pressure before her debut, something she didn't seem to show until she got in the ring, which caused her to cry. She'll be looking to cope better with the pressure this time out.
Touted as a potential golden girl for the Green Tsuda gym there has been a lot of attention and expectation on Komura's young shoulders. To her credit she coped with much of that pressure perfectly well, though the crying at her first fight did seem to suggest the pressure was getting to her a lot more than we assumed. With her debut win under her wings however we suspect a lot of the pressure has gone and we're expecting her to shine in December.
