Over the next few days Japanese fans are in for televised treats ahead of Christmas. Whilst we can't provide links to those shows, we can give the details for those who either in Japan, or have specific channels available to them.
The first of these pre-Christmas treats comes on Friday, when Fuji TV air's the recent Dangan show, which featured a pair of title fights.
The Fuji show goes under the usual Fuji TV title of “Diamond Glove” and will air from 27:05 local time (3:05am Saturday morning). The broadcast will show footage from Masayuki Ito's OPBF Super Featherweight title bout against Shingo Eto and Rikki Naito's Japanese Super Featherweight title bout with Kenichi Ogawa.
On Saturday it's the start of action on NTV G+, who are going to be screening a “Dynamic Glove Special”. The broadcast is set to begin at 6PM local time and last until 8:30PM.
The Saturday show is set to feature 3 bouts. The main event is a bout between Sho Nakazawa (7-0, 4) and Daisuke Watanabe (2-1, 2), with Nakazawa expected to fight for a title in early 2016 if he wins here. An under-card bout will see Tatsuya Ikemizu (12-1, 5) battle a Thai visitor whilst another under-card bout sees the attention grabbing Juiki Tatsuyoshi (2-0, 2) face off against Koichi Wakita (2-1).
The action continues on NTV G+ over the weekend, with the channel then showing the All Japan Rookie of the year. This broadcast begins at 2PM local time and extends right through the show, until an expected 8PM close. That's 6 hours of live rookie action for your weekend feasting!
