We are sad to report that the WBC Asian Boxing Council Lightweight title fight between current champion Tosho Makoto Aoki (19-12-2, 16) and Indonesian challenger Eddy Comaro (32-23-5, 13) has been rescheduled following an injury to Comaro.
The bout, which was scheduled for this weekend, will now be fought in June.
The bout was set to be one of 4 title bouts on a Filipino card promoted by Brico Santig's "Highland Boxing" and as far as we're aware the rest of the show will go ahead as planned.
This is a set back for both the the 35 year old champion, who has little time to lose in his career, as well as the challenger who had won his last 3 bouts.
