Tomorrow Indonesian fight fans get a treat as Daud Yordan (34-3-0-1, 24) takes on Japanese visitor Yoshitaka Kato (29-6-1, 9) [加藤善孝] in what looks like a nailed on war.
Today the two men took part in the weigh in for the bout and both made weight for the bout, which will be for Yordan's WBO Asia Pacific and WBO Africa titles.
On the scales Kato was the heavier man, weigh in around 134¾lbs for the bout, whilst Yordan was slightly lighter at 134½lbs.
For Kato the weight is around his usual weight, which has regularly been between 134lbs and 136lbs, though he has been as low as 132¾lbs and 140lbs, with both of those weights coming more than 8 years ago. For Yordan however the weight is the heaviest of his career and a stark increase on the 124lbs that he weighed in at earlier in his career, when he was rising through the ranks as a Featherweight. Saying that however Yordan has naturally grown into a Lightweight and was the taller man at the weigh in.
For fans interested in watching this one it will be aired on RCTI tomorrow. The channel will be streaming the bout on their website and everyone who is able to should tune in as it really should be something a little bit special.
