On April 18th we'll see talented youngster Musashi Mori make his next defense of the WBO Asia Pacific Featherweight title, as he takes on Shingo Kawamura. The poster for the event, "Splendid Boxing in Kumamoto Vol 2", is a simple one and really serves the main event as being something special and something big. The under-card fighters are on the bottom of the poster, and although a simple design, it is an effective design. Basic but effective.
On April 14th we see the next Splendid Boxing show, which will be headlined by the rematch between Musashi Mori and Richard Pumicpic, following their 2018 clash which ended following a headclash. As well as the main event the card will also feature Ginjiro Shigeoka and Seiya Tsutsumi, two very highly regarded prospects from the Watanabe gym. The poster sells hard on the main event, and makes Mori look like a star, which does great for fans perhaps not aware of him. It's not an amazing poster, but it certainly does a good job of painting the local youngster as something special.
Every major fight needs good promotional posters. This part of AsianBoxing will try and feature some of those posters.
