This Thursday will be a major fight in the career of two promising young Flyweights who collide in a major bout together. Those men are Filipino banger Froilan Saludar and highly touted Puerto Rican McWilliams Arroyo who meet in an IBF Flyweight title eliminator. The bout is genuinely amazing on paper and it's one we really are looking forward to. Sadly however the poster doesn't do the fight justice and instead of the the Filipino being given some space all we get of him is his name, in tiny font, on the poster.
Whilst we understand the show is being sold on the local Puerto Rican fighters who will appeal to local fans it does seem like Saludar is being treat like a second class citizen on a poster that should be there to sell him and his fight, not Prichard Colon in what appears to be little more than a mismatch against the very poor Carlos Garcia.
We're not fans of this poster and we're not fans of the way Saludar is being viewed though it does make us support him that little bit more than we do anyway.

Every major fight needs good promotional posters. This part of AsianBoxing will try and feature some of those posters.
