On September 22nd we get a co-promoted show from Watanabe Gym and Dangan, and whilst not a massive show it is an interesting one, headlined by a bout between Taiki Minamoto and Shingo Kusano, who make up the main images on the poster. The big images and the golden looking background make this look like a massively important show. It's the most original, but it does look sharp and eye catching, and we like it!
On September 18th we get the next Dangan card and it's one that sadly has a poster that's already had a major issue. The card was originally set to be headlined by a match up between OPBF Light Welterweight champion Ricky Naito and Koichi Aso, a bout that has been cancelled due to Naito suffering from Covid19. As a result the co-feature, which is a third bout between Ryoichi Tamura and Yusaku Kuga, is now the main event. The Tamura Vs Kuga bout, a Japanese title eliminator, should be something brutal and special, like their first two bouts, but it's a shame that the main event has been cancelled for this one.
Every major fight needs good promotional posters. This part of AsianBoxing will try and feature some of those posters.
