Japanese fighters rarely headline a bout in the US but this weekend sees Japanese slugger Yoshihiro Kamegai doing just that as he plays the B side to multi-weight world champion Robert Guerrero.
The bout not only headlines this weekend's Showtime telecast but also the poster with the two men taking the top part of the poster whilst the unbeaten Gary Russell Jr and former amateur star Vasyl Lomachenko are relegated to minor bit parts alongside Devon Alexander and Jesus Soto Karass at the bottom of the poster.
Although it's great, from an Asian perspective, to see Kamegai used as one of the big points of the card it does seem a bit backwards that the Lomachenko/Russell Jr bout isn't the main event. It is what it is though and we can't complain too much at what looks to be a fantastic card courtesy of Golden Boy Promotions.

Every major fight needs good promotional posters. This part of AsianBoxing will try and feature some of those posters.
