April 2013 feels like an incredibly long time ago and, if we're being honest, it is. Though the "Pacific Boxing Showdown in Camp Zama Vol II" was an event which really is notable. We'll start by just flat out stating the poster is terrible, it's a dull design and although Charlie Ota, or Charles Bellamy, was a star there was simply too much text and not enough eye catching graphically here to keep our focus. In fact the poster may well have missed an open goal given the card had the gorgeous Tomomi Takano on it, and they could have used her looks to help craft a much better poster. Despite the awful poster the card is notable in that it featured the professional debuts of Takano, and Kyosuke Sawada, as well as the second pro bout of Yusuke Suzuki, alongside Ota/Bellamy's OPBF title defense against Kyuk Suk Kwak. A poor poster for a shot that was a notable card given the young talent in the supporting bouts.
Every major fight needs good promotional posters. This part of AsianBoxing will try and feature some of those posters.
