Earlier today we looked at the terrible original poster for Bakbakan Sa Tayug 4, now we've been sent an updated example, and man what a huge improvement! This is a solid poster, a bit basic but it's solid and very easy to look at rather than the eye sore of the original poster.
On March 16th in the Philippines fight fans will get the chance to see IBF Bantamweight mandatory challenger Michael Dasmarinas in action as he takes on Chaiwat Buatkrathok, aka Kongfah Nakornluang in what should be an entertaining bout. Sadly, though as is the case with many Filipino posters, this is an absolute eye sort. It's got red text on red background, blue text on blue background, and so many huge sponsor logos...just an awful poster and a real nightmare to look at.
On March 21st fight fans in the Philippines will be able to see the fact rising Carl Jammes Martin return to the ring to take on veteran Ardin Diale in an interesting match up to headline "Fists of the Future". The poster is a very simple and effective one. Simple poster but it sells the main event and the idea that Martin is a major part of the future of Filipino boxing.
Every major fight needs good promotional posters. This part of AsianBoxing will try and feature some of those posters.
