It seems like it's becoming fashionable at times for big shows to have more than one poster. This week's IBF Flyweight title fight between Amnat Ruenroeng, the defending world champion, and Kazuto Ioka is one such show.
In Japan Ioka Boxing and TBS have released one poster whilst in Thailand Amnat's promoter has knocked up this very simplistic poster to appeal to the Thai audience.
It's not as appealing as the Japanese poster but does feature both fighters and a lot of information about the fight. Sadly though it does seem far too simple to really be appealing.

We are just a few days from what could be an historic day for Japanese boxing as Kazuto Ioka attempts to become the quickest fighter in Japanese boxing history to become a 3-weight world champion. Ioka, who battles Amnat Ruenroeng for the IBF Flyweight, had this poster promoting the fight in Japan.
The poster, which predominantly features Ioka also shows the belts of the IBF, WBA and WBC in the top corner. Ioka, who already owns WBC and WBA belts will be hoping to acquire an IBF belt, hence why that is on the poster.
Typically we'd have expected to see Ioka's opponent on the poster but instead the only other man featured is Katsunari Takayama, who is in the bottom corner. Takayama will be defending his own IBF belt against Shin Ono on the same show.
We do, generally, like the poster. The image of Ioka looks brilliant, the details of the fight in the middle are excellent and the trio of belts idea is fantastic. Sadly though we would have liked to have seen Amnat on the poster somewhere.

Every major fight needs good promotional posters. This part of AsianBoxing will try and feature some of those posters.
