On October 8th we'll see the next show under the Pioneer of Fight banner, and it's an interesting card showcasing some of the best fighters MT Gym have to offer. The main event is real taking point of the show as the hard hitting Kai Ishizawa battles against Naoya Haruguchi in a Japanese title eliminator at 105lbs. That bout really is key one on the poster, but the poster does do well in giving the under-card some attention and making the MT Gym look like they are a really significant outfit. A really solid poster for a typical domestic card.
On February 19th action returns to the Shinjuku FACE for the second "Pioneer of Fight" show. The card isn't a big one but has on a number of well matched bouts, including an excellent main event between Akinori Hoshino and Shun Kosaka, who will both be looking to move towards a potential Japanese title fight. The poster is a simple one, and although we're not a huge fan of it it itdoes work for the low tier of show that fans will be getting.
This weekend sees a new series kick off as "Pioneer of Fight" gets it's first show. The show is one of two cards at the Shinjuku Face and although none of the matches are really that notable we do have to admit that the poster is a busy and active one, and will certainly draw fans to the show, which we hope will be a success.
Every major fight needs good promotional posters. This part of AsianBoxing will try and feature some of those posters.
