One thing we do love when we go through classic posters is seeing some of the posters for career defining, and career changing, bouts. One such case is this one from April 2013 which was headlined by Ryoichi Taguchi taking on Yuki Chinen for the Japanese Light Flyweight title. The bout saw Taguchi win his first title, out pointing Chinen for the previously vacant title. In regards to a poster we like the simply design and the text is used well to sell the main event. Nothing to amazing, but we do think this is a solid poster which has essentially aged well given what Taguchi went on to do in the years that followed.
Every major fight needs good promotional posters. This part of AsianBoxing will try and feature some of those posters.
