On November 23rd fight fans in Tokyo will get the latest in the Hopeful Fight series. The poster is build around Kimika Miyoshi, who is in the headlined bout but features others from the Kawasaki Nitta Gym. It's not a great poster, but we dare say it serves the show better than it should, given the show it's self isn't a great one. Not an amazing poster, by any stretch, but they didn't have the greatest of bouts to work up here.
Earlier this month we spoke about the original poster for Hopeful Fight Vol 33 and we didn't think it was great. Thankfully the team have put out a second poster for it, which looks a lot more coherent. This still isn't a great poster but it does push Masayuki Kuroda as the star of the show. Better than the original poster, but still not great.
On March 30th we'll see Masayuki Kuroda return to the ring in the headline bout of the next Hopeful Fight. Sadly the poster doesn't do it for us, at all. It looks like a mess and it's parts really don't work well together. It's not "terrible" but it's certainly not very coherent and we're not fans at all.
Every major fight needs good promotional posters. This part of AsianBoxing will try and feature some of those posters.
