Earlier this week we saw a poster released for the upcoming WBA "super" Light Flyweight title fight between Hiroto Kyoguchi and Thanongsak Simsri. That original poster served a purpose but was a biut dull. Today however we saw a second poster being released for the bout, and it has had a good lick of paint. Kyoguchi even more like a star than he did in the original poster, the background looks exciting and the poster show cases just how many sponsors are backing the event. Sadly it does make the Thai challenger look very insignificant , but it does make the event look like a premier show. We like this a lot, even though Simsri is made into a marginal figure for his first world title bout.
Earlier today news broke that WBA Light Flyweight "Super" champion Hiroto Kyoguchi would be defending his title in November against Thanongsak Simsri. As well as the announcement of the bout was also the release of the poster. At first glance we like it, on second glance we still like it...but. The really is a simple one and it doesn't look bad, but it looks very simple. It also really downplays the challenger, making him look small and a just a bit insignificant. It's not a bad poster, by any stretch, and it does include a lot of information, including the reveal that the bout would be shown on YouTube, but it does seem to devalue the challenger just a little bit.
Every major fight needs good promotional posters. This part of AsianBoxing will try and feature some of those posters.
